Caroline and Julian’s love story started on everyone’s (least) favorite dating app: Tinder ™. According to Julian, they matched twice, a notification Caroline swears she never saw. Fortunately, the second time was the charm. Within a couple of weeks, Care and Jules had their first date at Scenic Root in Manlius, NY. Three hours’ worth of lovely conversation later, Caroline and Julian walked out of the restaurant half an hour after it had officially closed. They ended the night with Julian challenging Care to laser tag, to which she replied: “I’ll kick your ass.” Needless to say: This is where they both began to fall in love.

Five years later, Caroline and Julian have built a full and strong life together. In this time, the two have survived a literal pandemic and nearly getting struck by lightning on the summit of Acadia Mountain; have celebrated Care’s 10+ years of sobriety and the incredible accomplishment of Julian getting his Doctorate in Psychology; have started successful careers in the arts and education; and have raised two beautiful bunnies. Together, they have traveled from one end of the country to the other, taking their relationship to new heights (i.e., seeing the Grand Canyon and the giant Sequoias). It’s only natural that they’ve chosen to go on their next adventure together: marriage.
