Q + A

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there reserved hotel blocks?

We have chosen not to reserve any hotel blocks but we recommend travelers to check out our "stay local" tab to browse the many hotels & BNB's in the Ithaca Area. We urgently suggest booking your hotel rooms ASAP!! With it being a holiday weekend in a popular Finger Lakes city, rooms will book up quickly. We are recommending Ithaca Marriott Downtown on the Commons, it'll put you right in the middle of all that is gorges about the city!

What is the dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal or cocktail. This dress code is about striking the perfect balance between casual and dressy. When in doubt, dress up versus down! We recommend suits, blazers, dress shirts, ties or bow ties, dress pants and dress shoes for those it would be comfortable for. We also recommend dresses, dressy jumpsuits, dressy separates, thick or block heels, and dressy flats for those who desire. Be bold, be comfortable, feel beautiful! copy and paste these links below to see visuals: https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-semi-formal https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire

Can I take photos at the wedding? Can I post them to social media?

There is a time and place for everything! That said, the ceremony is *NOT* the time to pull out your phone. We want to see our loved ones' faces, not your phone cases! However, please feel free to take all the photos you want during the reception and post them on social media.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding celebrations will occur mostly outdoors! The ceremony itself will be outside (weather permitting). The reception dinner will occur outdoors underneath a tent, and the bar and dance floor will be indoors. With this being said, most of the walking we'll be doing will be on gravel, or grass so please wear thick or block heels.

Can I RSVP online, or do I need to mail in a card?

There is an option to do both depending on what you prefer! Click the menu option "RSVP" on this website or use the card & envelope provided in your invitation to accept or decline our invitation.

Are children invited too?

To give everyone the chance to have as much fun and freedom as they can have, we've decided to have an adult only wedding! Those invited to the wedding are limited to those addressed on the invitations.

When should I RSVP?

RSVP deadline is June 21st, 2025. Please RSVP anytime prior to the deadline.

What is the address of the venue?

1500 Taughannock Blvd. Ithaca, NY 14850

What's the weather like?

Current weather patterns suggest that the weather around the time of our wedding will be gorgeous! It may be relatively warm with temperatures in the high 70s or low 80s.

Enjoying a sober night is important to us! Caroline has been sober for ten+ years, and wants everyone to enjoy fun & yummy drinks throughout the night! There will be a mocktail menu, that isn't just juice & soda! For the toast we've decided to let you choose your drink, rather than giving everyone a champagne glass.
